2008 Youth Unlimited Program Theme: RIGHT THE WRONG

Isaiah 1:17 "Learn to do right, seek justice, encourage the oppressed, defend the cause of the fatherless, plead the case of the widow.”

Social justice is not a passing theme; it is our calling as Christians. Identifying, teaching and experiencing what this means within a short term mission–SERVE & ENCOUNTER or at a large gathering of peers–Convention, draws out the individual call as well as corporate impact we can be to the communities around us and across the world. To “Right the Wrong” is to put faith into action and to care for the needs of others so that they can be in a place to feel God’s grace and see there is something different when living as a Christian. It’s putting hands and feet to the ministry Jesus lived.

In 2008 Youth Unlimited has incorporated the theme of Social Justice throughout the programming and devotional materials used, as well as having articles highlight this topic in our monthly resource to youth leaders, eQuip.
