Youth Unlimited offers following theme-based materials to assist you in preparing students for their 2009 Youth Unlimited experience (Convention and Missions). To download, click on the resource title.
Theme: Living Inside Out
Verse: Romans 12: 1-2 (The Message) “You’ll be changed from the inside out.”
In context: "So here's what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don't become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You'll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.”

Letter to Parents/Guardians:(COMING Spring 2009)
The letter from Youth Unlimited explains the major concepts that will be addressed during the YU experience. It may be helpful for you to share this letter with parents/guardians to help them support their son or daughter upon their return.
Youth Group Devotions: (COMING Spring 2009) A youth group meeting plan for you to use with your entire youth group upon the return of youth group members who went on a Youth Unlimited experience.
 The Following are Specific to Missions (SERVE & ENCOUNTER) Experiences:
Overview of 2009 Theme for Mission Experiences: (Coming Spring 2009!) The daily questions, focuses and texts that will be used in individual devotions and small group discussions each day during SERVE and 1-week ENCOUNTER experiences. This short document could be shared with student's families or prayer partners to encourage them to use these specific themes and texts for their personal/family devotions during the week of the mission experience or to include in notes of encouragement to their student.
Adult Leaders' Guide: The Leaders' Guide will be sent to all registered adult leaders approximately 30 days before your SERVE/ENCOUNTER experience begins. If you wish to receive an advanced copy to begin studying earlier, please contact missions@youthunlimited.org.
