How to Register
Missions registration opens November 1, 2009. To register, Choose your TYPE of registration then check out the OTHER IMPORTANT REGISTRATION INFORMATION below. NOTE: Space is filled on a first-come, first-served basis according to postmark/online registration date. Registration payment must be made in US dollars.

FULL REGISTRATION
Full Registration (as opposed to Pre-registration) is when each individual planning to attend fills out all of the required fields on the registration form and includes full payment for the specified site.

PRE-REGISTRATION* - open November 1, 2009 – February 1, 2010
Pre-Registration is when you do not need the names/information of specific participants attending. It is simply a head count from your church and $50 US deposit to reserve each spot. The remainder of the registration fee is due with each individual's completed form on March 1, 2010
No Longer Available
Submit the required information along with a non-refundable deposit of $50 US per person to reserve spaces until March 1, 2010 for summer experiences. Note: In the event that you do not use all reserved spots, unused deposits may not be applied to balance due.

What forms of payment does Youth Unlimited accept?
Youth Unlimited accepts check, money order, Visa, Mastercard or Discover payments in US dollars only.
Effective September 19, 2009, the Youth Unlimited Board of Directors determined that in order to properly plan and budget for income and expenditures of the ministry, all registration fees must be paid in US funds. By offering pricing in US dollars only, Canadian participants will always receive the most current exchange rate available at the time their payment is processed. We apologize for any inconvenience or confusion this decision may cause and thank you for your understanding. If you have any questions, please contact us at missions@youthunlimited.org.

When will I find out what mission trip I got into?
Please allow 3-4 weeks for your registration to be processed. You will receive written confirmation in the mail.
What if I need to cancel or want to change sites after I'm registered?
For US, Canadian and Mexican experiences, Youth Unlimited will refund monies in excess of $150 USD if a written cancellation request is received by YU prior to April 1, 2010 for summer missions, and prior to February 1, 2010 for spring break mission trips. No refunds will be made after April 1, 2010. Please note that pre-registration deposits are non-refundable and not transferable to your remaining balance due.
For all other international experiences, the cancellation policy varies based on whether the fees were paid by the individual or by financial supporters. Contact us for more information.
If you request a change of site location or switch participants within 30 days of the start date of your mission experience, an additional $50 USD will be charged to cover administrative costs.
Transportation Policy
Registration Fees do NOT include transportation to and from sites. All international flights to and from sites are arranged by Youth Unlimited EXCEPT for US, Canadian and Mexican sites. Airfare is not included in the international registration fees.
Each group of five or more must also provide vehicle(s) and adult driver(s) (typically small group leaders) to transport an equal number of participants during the duration of the mission trip for all US and Canadian sites, except for some sites which are noted on the site locations list as “on-site transportation included.” If your group is unable to provide van transportation, please have a youth leader call YU to discuss options and additional charges.
Extreme Weather or Disaster Cancellation
Youth Unlimited has your group’s safety in mind as we host events. If we are unable to host an event due to weather conditions or national disaster, deposits cannot be refunded. Refunds of final balance payments will be made only if properties and/or locations refund Youth Unlimited for these costs. If an event is hosted as scheduled and your group cancels or reduces numbers due to weather conditions or other concerns, all payments are non-refundable.
Smoking Policy
Most mission sites are non-smoking. Check Site Location descriptions for exceptions.
Small Group Leaders
Adult Small Group Leaders must be at least 21 years old and be mature Christian role models. All adults must have their pastor approve and sign their registration form endorsing their participation as a small group leader. Adult leaders act as work site supervisors and discussion facilitators for a small group of 6-8 students. NOTE: Youth groups must send a minimum of one adult for every five teens attending from your church.
If taking both male and female youth, please register at least one adult of each gender.
