| OTTAWA, ONTARIO SPECIAL NEEDS SERVE Dates: July 10 - 15, 2010 (Saturday - Thursday) General Description:The Special Needs SERVE is for people from the ages 14-26 with special needs that can not be accommodated on a traditional SERVE site. During this 5 day project, participants will spend time serving and worshipping God. The work projects will be tailored to the ability of the individual students that will allow them to experience the joy that comes from serving others in the name of Christ. (PDF) Facilities: Calvin Christian Reformed Church Work Sites: You may be involved with painting, yard work, office work, etc. Day Away: To Be Determined. Transportation: Registration fees do NOT include transportation to and from this mission experience. As an all-inclusive site, transportation will be provided for you once you arrive at the site. For your decision making purposes, the closest airport is Ottawa International Airport. Please DO NOT book airfare until you have received written confirmation from Youth Unlimited that you have been placed at this site. Whenever a missionary comes to speak at our church, or a mission group goes off to do what the Lord needs them to do, our adult child turns to us and says, "my Ottawa too?". For a person with disabilities to go on a mission trip and be able to minister to others is such a wonderful thing. As a parent, it makes me cry with thankfulness and joy.
