General Description: This position is designed for those who desire to explore fulltime ministry in Christian Camping.  We are looking for interns who are finished or finishing up college (a minimum of 19 year-olds, or a year out of high school).  They will need to go through our hiring process in order to be accepted into the program.

Offered for young adults who are interested in going into fulltime camp ministry, they will work closely alongside professional staff in all areas of camp, to learn how to effectively minister in a relational, team-based, God-honoring environment.

Facilities: Grace Adventures will provide housing for you at camp.  They have 1000 foot of waterfront property (great for swimming, blobbing, boating, beach volleyball, watertrampoline), as well as a ranch (that offers trailrides, wagon rides, and other unique horse experiences), and a full size gym, indoor climbing tower, etc.

Work Sites: At camp, you’ll be involved in a variety of activities, including but not limited to…

  • Learning to facilitate group building at both low ropes and high adventure (ropes course, climbing tower, zipline). 
  • Planning and implementing games, activities, and experiences for youth, adults and families both on camp and in the surrounding Silver Lake Sand Dune area
  • Helping write Bible studies for our summer camps
  • Recruiting, hiring and training summer staff to impact people with Jesus Christ

Day Away: Interns receive a minimum of one day off per week, often 2 days during the non-summer months.  They can enjoy the Silver Lake Sand Dune area (both onsite and offsite activities included): ORV (Off Road Vehicles), Hiking, Biking, Swimming, Kayaking, Fishing, Go-Carts, Mini-Golf.

Transportation: Registration fees do NOT include transportation to and from this mission experience. As an all-inclusive site, transportation will be provided for you once you arrive at the site.For your decision making purposes, the closest airport is Grand Rapids, MI.
