    IT'S NOT JUST ABOUT ONE WEEK

Where: Chicago, IL

When: July 28–August 1, 2014 (five days and four nights)

Who: High school youth groups of any size and their leaders (one adult per five students)

Facility: Trinity Christian College

Why: Move your worship experiences from the sanctuary into the streets by serving the people of Palos Heights and expanding the ongoing ministry of Trinity Christian College, its students and area churches.

Cost:

  • $375 (November 1, 2013 – March 31, 2014)
  • $425 (after April 1, 2014)

What’s included: The Chicago Project is an all-inclusive program including housing in beautiful residence halls at Trinity Christian College, scrumptious meals in a fantastic dining facility, great programming and more.

Registration: Opens November 1, 2013 – space is limited so register soon!

Transportation: Each group is responsible for their own transportation to, from and during the event.

Sample Daily Schedule:

7:00 – 8:00 AM – Breakfast

8:00 – 8:30 AM – Devotions

8:45 AM – 4:00 PM – Worksites throughout the city (lunch onsite)

4:00 – 5:30 PM – Free Time

5:30 – 6:30 PM – Dinner

7:00 PM – Worship

8:45 PM – Youth Group Time

9:45–11:00 PM – Free Time

11:00 PM – Curfew

Trinity partners with local organizations throughout the year. Participants will have the opportunity to participate in various service opportunities including tutoring, cleanup, building and helping out many urban and suburban ministries around Chicago.

Community Revitalization will include the following and much more:

  • Light construction, demolition, painting projects, park cleanup, etc
  • Food distribution and clothing organization
  • Boys & Girls club activities with participants
  • Relational time with a variety of people from the community (elderly, persons living on the street, Christian business and ministry persons)

Come a day early, and plan your own day away. Catch a Cubs or Sox game, see a museum or shop the Magnificent Mile. There is no shortage of things to do in Chicago. Additional nights on Trinity’s campus may be available upon request at the rate of $20/night per person.
