What does a typical Soul Care Retreat look like:

Day 1:

  • 6:00 pm: Check in/arrival
  • 8:00 – 9:00 pm: Facilitated discussion #1
  • 9:00 pm: Networking/games

Day 2:

  • 8:30 am: Breakfast
  • 9:30 – 11:00 am: Facilitated discussion #2
  • 11:00 – 12:30 pm: Free/Soul Care time
  • 12:30: Lunch
  • 1:00 – 6:00 pm: Free/Soul Care time
  • 6:00 – 7:00 pm: Dinner
  • 7:30 – 9:00 pm: Facilitated discussion #3
  • 9:00 pm: Games/networking

Day 3:

  • 8:30 am: Breakfast
  • 9:30 – 11:00 am: Facilitated discussion #4
  • 11:00 am: Check out

 

Who sets up the Retreat:

Each retreat is planned and organized by a local planning team. As a result each retreat is organic and unique to each specific location.

 

Are there discounts available?

Yes, for specific regions discounts are available.

  • Central Canada Retreat:
    1. Classis Huron Youth Workers: First 15 people to register get a discount of $30.00. Code: HURON12
    2. Classis Niagara Youth Workers: First 15 people to register get a discount of $30.00. Code: NIAGARA12

Is there Grant funds available?

As a paid youth worker, you are eligible to receive funds from the ‘Continuing Education Grant’ from the Christian Reformed Church in North America: You would be eligible to receive up to $750.00 Click here for application.
