What makes SERVE mission trips different for your youth or teen?
SERVE partners with churches looking to host life-changing teen service trips. When you send your students on a SERVE mission trip, you can be sure there are local churches involved in hosting the week-long. Those local churches are involved in sustainable community outreach and will share their heart for their community with your students. The community-focused environment will increase your students’ passion for their own congregation and community.
SERVE youth service trips will also introduce your students to the concepts of justice and missional living. At any SERVE mission experience or summer service trip, you and your students will be introduced to and involved in one or more of the following types of service work:
- Community Revitalization
- Compassion for the Marginalized
- Creation Care
- Recreational Ministry for Children
- Acts of Kindness
SERVE has a great post-trip process that encourages your teen to apply what they experienced on their student service trip to their local community and their local own church. Contact the Youth Unlimited Office to learn more.
SERVE Sites are a one-week mission and service experience hosted by a local church that requests 40 – 100 students from four or more sending churches to help with their community outreach and revitalization. Click here to learn more about our SERVE Sites and choose the Site for your mission trip.
Missional service trips for large, multi-generational, or unique groups.
The SERVE team can help customize a SERVE experience specifically designed for your group needs. SERVE will work with your leadership to accommodate service trip dates, modified schedules, worship sessions, and more for your large groups, multi-generational groups, or any other unique group situation. All custom SERVE missions trips will have the same faith-forming key values found in all Youth Unlimited experiences.
“Everyone bonds the first day. You don’t have to be nervous going because you know you will meet people right away. You get out of your comfort zone, which isn’t easy to do, but on SERVE you can.”
